Aufhebung is the first video research to understand the evo- lutionary possibilities of the pictorial discipline. Starting from culturally mainstream Manet’s artwork “Le Déjeuner sur l’her- be”, Aufhebung is collocated in a grotesque environment over- flowing with corrupt iconographic elements.

The synthesized sounds and the rewind of the video-editing creates a sense of inadequacy and oppression, capable of transforming the protagonists as surreal bodies.
    The tableau vivant is projected inside a picture frame, which can be found in the scene of the video: the intent is to emphasize sleazy si- tuations in wich we find ourselves in our existence.
