With the series Carezze (Caresses), Martinucci pursues the creation of suspended imaginations and transversal narratives through three distinct cycles of works made around the figure of an Oleander, at once seductive and toxic, that the artist chooses as a metaphor of the context in which he finds himself living and working.

Attracted by the ambivalent nature of this shrub, Martinucci tests the tenacity of painting through the obsessive and obstinate transposition of its leaves, generating a set of layers and visual lacerations that try to reconstruct the gesture of a caress.
