Monster Grabber
2024
Monster Grabber is a video installation that allows objects to tell their stories while being grabbed by a claw machine, a coin-operated entertainment device with a mechanical arm. Within the video, the machine activates automatically every 15 minutes, repeating its gesture and raising a question: who has the control and the ability to give voice to the stories? A higher entity or an entertainment machine?
Monster Grabber is produced by Una Boccata D’Arte 2024, a project by Fondazione Elpis, in collaboration with Galleria Continua and Threes Production.
